Chris provides insight to CSN through review of technology and training to help CSN determine best practices, processes and systems to save the lives of students. He comes from an extensive 20-year career in law enforcement where he is recognized as a national expert on campus safety and active shooter prevention. Chris is the founder of Predictive Security, a Southern California technology company focused on preventing student suicide and active shooter incidents by combining proven processes with AI based platforms. During his time with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the Los Angeles Community College District, he received several awards for innovation in policing, innovation in technology, and has been credited with establishing mainstream campus threat assessment protocols. Chris’ team has successfully intervened in 26 campus related incidents including five with specific active shooter intentions, and three incidents where plans to carry out a mass school shooting were in motion with firearms already in play.
